Aeroporto do Porto Santo

The island's airport, code PXO, at Campo de Cima, about 2 km from Vila Baleira. Opened on 28 August 1960 after a first test flight on 20 July, it has a concrete runway of 3,006 metres, one of the longest in Portugal, which also serves as a diversion field.
